Our Story
During an unfortunate period of time between employers, our founder was doing odd-jobs to make ends meet. The man he was helping had a home for sale and had just been through a home inspection. They spent a few days going through and repairing all the little items the inspector had reported. A few months later another home inspector had another list of small fixes to be made. After the third inspection, he had an idea. Why not start a business helping real estate agents get homes through closing by offering to fix the small items instead of caving to big selling price reductions? After some research, and the LORD's leading, our founder started Your Dad!
Why Your Dad for a business name?
So many of today's generations no longer know how to do the things their parents did as second nature. So few even own a set of basic hand tools. What do they do when something needs repair? Call their parent or the parent of someone they know that might be able to help.
